Charles (Chuck) Edwin Boddorf 77, of North Freedom passed away Thursday May 3 2018, at his residence.
Chuck was born May 29, 1940 in Dixonville, Indiana County, PA the son of the late C. Clair Boddorf and Jennie Mae (Wise) Boddorf. On March 10, 1962 in Eddyville, PA he married Bernice Aldine (Doverspike) Boddorf, she survives.
He was a graduate of the Punxsutawney High School.
He served in the United States Air Force as an Airman 2nd class and returned to North Freedom where he was dairy farmer on the family farm.
Chuck was an avid farmer, his hobbies included: gardening, spending time with his family, grandchildren and great- grandchildren.
He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Bernice Boddorf of North Freedom, 3 daughters, Deborah (Mark) Rodgers of Akron, Ohio, Tammy (Richard) Powell of North Freedom, PA. and Terri (Scott) Bowser of New Bethlehem, PA., 6 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
He was proceeded in death by his parents.
Friends and family will be received on Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 1-2PM at the Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad Street, Summerville, PA. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor David Shay officiating the service.
Interment will follow the funeral service at the North Freedom cemetery.
