Edna F. Clinger, 92, of Brookville, passed away Saturday, June 16, 2018 at Penn Highlands Hospital of DuBois.
She was born on October 13, 1925 in Summerville, the daughter of the late Charles and Grace (Darling) Walmer. On November 25, 1948, in Crates, she married Robert E. "Ten" Clinger, who preceded her in death on April 21, 2005.
Retired, Edna has worked for Rolo in Punxsutawney. Her hobbies included, quilting, crocheting and weaving rugs.
Edna is survived by her three sons: Robert W. Clinger, and his wife Karen, of Corsica, Ronald E. Clinger, and his wife Elisabeth, of Treasure Lake, and Charles L. Clinger, and his wife Linda, of Corsica; 12 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren, and 1 great great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; a son, Allen G. "Jerry" Aaron; two brothers, James and Alfred Walmer; and three sister, Twila Myers, Myrna Myers, and Lois Cyphert.
Friends and family will be received on Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 1-3 PM at the Furlong Funeral Home, corner of Broad Street and First Avenue, Summerville, PA. A Funeral Service will follow at 3 PM.
Interment will follow in the Cedarview Cemetery, Strattanville, PA
