James Richard Allenbaugh, 63, of Mayport (North Freedom), died Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at Penn Highlands Hospital in DuBois.
Born on August 3, 1954 in DuBois, he was the son of the late William G. and Marguerite (Burkett) Allenbaugh.
Mr. Allenbaugh was a 1972 graduate of DuBois Area High School. He was employed as a laborer-operator at Hazen Lumber.
James was a member of A.B.A.T.E. and the Fraternal Order of Eagles in New Bethlehem, PA. He enjoyed motorcycles, fishing, reading Steven King books, and watching horror movies. He was a Green Bay Packers fan.
James is survived by a son, James R. Allenbaugh II of Fairmount City, a daughter, Tammy J. Allenbaugh of New Bethlehem, a brother, William Allenbaugh II and wife Nancy of DuBois, and a grandson Zachary LaBorde, of Clarion. Also surviving are his best friends, Amanda Foringer of Corsica, and Mark DeVaughn of Hawthorn, PA.
In addition to his parents, James is preceded in death by his sister, Carol Snyder.
There will be no public visitation. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad Street, Summerville, PA.
