James "Jim" William Hoover, 62, of Brookville, died Wednesday, August 7, 2019 at his home.
Born April 26, 1957 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Paul J. Hoover Sr. and Lillian S. (Hoffman) Hoover.
Mr. Hoover graduated from Perry High School. He worked as a groundskeeper for C. Harper Dealerships. He enjoyed hunting and fishing. His hobbies included raising rabbits and art; he was a very good artist and wood worker.
He is survived by two brothers, Paul J. Hoover Jr. and his wife, Palma, of Glenshaw, PA and Gary E. Hoover and his wife, Tina, of Punxsutawney and one sister, Sharon A. Barber of Brookville.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Hoover was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Joe Barber.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Furlong Funeral Home, corner of Broad St. and First Ave., Summerville.
