Jason Richard Wolfgang, 33, of Marienville, died Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh.
Born September 15, 1984 in Punxsutawney, he was the son of Richard Arnold and Debra (Schmek) Wolfgang.
Jason was a 2003 graduate of East Forest High School, and obtained an Associate Degree in Graphic Design from DuBois Business College in 2006. He worked numerous places in the Marienville area. Jason was a member of the Marienville United Methodist Church. He enjoyed playing video games and he was an artist. He was a drummer and former member of the marching band while in high school.
Jason is survived by four grandparents, O. Fay and Eugene H. Wolfgang of Marienville, Jackie Schmek of Marienville, and Nancy D'Angelo of Pittsburgh. Also surviving is a twin brother James Eugene Wolfgang and a sister, Stacy Ellen Wolfgang, both of Marienville, a nephew, Zachary Kay of Marienville, and a niece, Atalie Kahle of Knox.
Jason is preceded in death by two grandfathers, James Schmek and Evo D'Angelo.
Friends and family will be received on Monday, June 11, 2018 from 2 - 4 PM and 6 - 8 PM, and Tuesday June 12 from 10 - 11 Am at the Furlong Funeral Home, 140 Cherry Street in Marienville, PA. A funeral service will follow at the funeral home on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 at 11 AM with Reverend Dan Richter officiating.
Per the family's request, memorial donations may be made to the Marienville United Methodist Church in memory of Jason Richard Wolfgang.
