Joanie Lynn Nicklas, 34, of Miola, formerly of Marienville, died Tuesday, November 6, 2018 of natural causes at her home.
Born February 1, 1984 in Clarion, she was the daughter of Richard Alan Nicklas of Marienville and Lynette (Pulit) Fye of Richmond, VA; her parents survive.
Ms. Nicklas attended East Forest High School. She was of the Methodist faith and was baptized at the Methodist Church in Marienville.
She was a homemaker, and she enjoyed photography, walking in nature, and four-wheeler riding. She was also an animal lover.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Nicklas is survived by her companion, Eli Bowen of Miola; two sons, Kyle J. and Kayden J. Studer and one daughter, Kamie J. Studer, all of Strattanville; four brothers, Brian S. Nicklas of Knox, Aaron C. Nicklas of Slippery Rock, Jason Fye of Mt. Pleasant, SC, and Jeremy Fye of Burkeville, VA.
Also surviving are her paternal grandfather, Leonard C. Nicklas; her maternal grandmother, Joanne Pulit of Ohio; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Ms. Nicklas was preceded in death of by her paternal grandmother, Nora M. Nicklas and her maternal grandfather, Charles Pulit.
Friends will be received on Saturday, November 17, 2018 from 1-2 PM at the Furlong Funeral Home, 140 Cherry Street, Marienville, PA. A funeral service will follow at 2 PM at the funeral home with Reverend Dan Richter officiating.
The family suggests that memorial donations be made to Marienville United Methodist Church.
