Lewis Salada

Lewis E. Salada , 75, of Troutville, PA passed away on Thursday May 3, 2018 at his residence.

Lewis was born March 28, 1943 in DuBois, Clearfield County, PA, the son of the late Lewis Edger Sr. and Leah (Amich) Salada.  Lewis was a U. S. Army Veteran obtaining the rank of Pvt.  He earned his sharpshooter badge.  He was discharged on January 15, 1965.  On March 28, 1987 he was married to Mary L. (Haag) Shepler in Punxsutawney.  He was employed as a truck driver at Brocious Trucking until his retirement in 2005.  Lewis enjoyed golfing and hunting.

Along with his wife, he is survived by his sons Nevin "Heather" Salada, Lewis E. "Liz" Salada; stepsons, Harry E. Shepler and Loney J. "Lisa" Shepler; his daughter Christine "Allen" Morrow; his step daughter Christine I. "James" Lewis; sisters, Suzanne Loomis and Martha Snyder, 19 grandchildren, and 20 great-grandchildren.

Along with his parents, Lewis was preceded in death by a step daughter, Debra I. Fyock; his brothers, Leslie, Arthur, and James; and sisters, Iola Haag and Edith Kinter.
