Myra A. Hill

Myra A. Hill, 78, of Ringgold, PA, died Monday, August 5, 2019 at her home.

Born July 21, 1941 in Brookville, she was the daughter of the late Alonzo F. and Jessie M. (Deemer) Kunselman.

Myra attended Brookville High School.  On July 19, 1959 she was married to Lawrence E. Hill in Ford City, PA.  She was employed by Bowser Greenhouse and the shirt factory in Hawthorn.  She enjoyed crocheting and knitting, and loved her animals.

Surviving are four sons, Wylie Hill of Sprankle Mills, John Hill of Ringgold, Bob (Jen) Hill of Ringgold, and Greg Hill of New Bethlehem; six brothers, Robert, Tom, Dave, Don, Jim, and Kenny; two sisters, Betty and Shirley;  19 grandchildren, and 29 great-grandchildren.

Along with her husband and parents, Myra is preceded in death by a son, James Hill; a daughter, Tracy Smith; and three brothers, John, Butch, and Raymond.

Her family will receive friends on Friday, August 9, 2019 from 5 - 8  pm and Saturday, August 10, 2019 from 10 - 11 am at the Furlong Funeral Home, corner of Broad St. and First Ave., Summerville.  A service will follow at 11 am at the funeral home.

         Interment will follow in the Vandervort, Clover Twp., Jefferson County, PA.
