Rebecca A. Cook

Rebecca A. Cook 81, of Crown, PA died Monday October 1, 2018 at the Snyder Memorial Health Care Center in Marienville, PA.

Born on January 8, 1937 in Glendale, WV, she was the daughter of the late Bartley and Rebecca Rutan.

Rebecca attended Cameron High School and Potomac State College where she received a degree in Home Economics.  On December 31, 1968 she was married to Raymond E. Cook in NY., he survived her by two days.  Rebecca worked in sales at Horne's and Lazarus.  Rebecca was a member of St. Paul's United Methodist Church in Allison Park, PA, and was a member of Eastern Star.  She enjoyed ceramics and crafting.

She is survived by a son, John Evans of Crown, PA.  Also surviving are four grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a cousin, Dave McCraken.  She was preceded in death by a daughter, Cathy Donahue.

At the family's request, there will be no public viewing.  A celebration of life for Ray and Becky will be held at 2 PM Saturday October 13, 2018 at the Vowinckel Hotel.  Interment will be in Cooksburg Cemetery, Barnett Twp., Forest County.
