Roger E. Weaver

Roger E. Weaver, 68, of Marienville, died Tuesday, June 5, 2018 at his home.

He was born July 6, 1949 in Oil City to the late Elvin and Betty (Stephens) Weaver.

Roger was 1968 graduate of East Forest High School. On October 4, 1969, he was married to Kathy Plut at St. Alphonsus Church in Wexford, PA.  He was employed at SCI Forest until retiring in 2013. Roger was a member of the Marienville United Methodist Church.

Roger is survived by his wife, Kathy Weaver of Marienville; two sons, Chad and wife Rachel Weaver of Montrose, PA, and Jody Weaver of Marienville; a sister, Karen May of Oil City, PA, and two grandchildren.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Ronald Weaver.

A memorial service is to be held at 1 PM on Saturday July 7, 2018 at the Marienville UM Church.  Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Furlong Funeral Home, 140 Cherry Street in Marienville, PA. 

Per the family's request, memorial donations may be made to Clarion Forest VNA Hospice.
