Roxanne Gilson, 64, of Worthville, died on Sunday, November 25, 2018 at Jefferson Manor in Brookville.
Born October 4, 1954 in Punxsutawney, she was the daughter of the late Edward N. and Mary Alice (Dinger) Gilson.
Ms. Gilson was a graduate of Punxsutawney High School. She was a member of the New Life Fellowship Church in Timblin. She worked at Rolo-Jensen in Punxsutawney until she was unable to work. She enjoyed coloring and faithfully read her Bible, always having it in her bed beside her.
She is survived by her brothers, David Gilson and his wife, Debra, of Summerville and James Gilson and his wife, Iolene, of Worthville and a sister, Pemmie Simpson and her husband, Charles, of Summerville. Also surviving are her nephews and niece, Scott, Richard, Michael, David, Daniel, and Teresa and a number of great-nephews and nieces.
In addition to her parents, Ms. Gilson was preceded in death by a niece, Jamey.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 28, 2018 from 2-4 PM and 6-7 PM at the Furlong Funeral Home, corner of Broad Street and First Avenue, Summerville, PA.
A funeral service will be held directly after visitation at 7 PM at the funeral home with Reverend David Stonebreaker officiating.
Interment will be in the Worthville Cemetery, Jefferson County.
