Willard A. Conner

Willard A. Conner Jr., 65 of Rimersburg, PA, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018 from injuries sustained in a automobile accident in Venango County, PA.

    Willard was born on June 8, 1953 in Rimersburg, PA. He was the son of the late Willard Conner Sr. and Jacqueline (Hillard) Conner, she survives in East Brady, PA.  He was a graduate of Union High School. Willard was a veteran serving in the U.S. Air Force.  His was married to his first wife, Diana (Gourley) Hogue who resides in Pine City, PA.  His second wife, Missy Conner resides in Sligo, PA.

    He was employed as a mechanic and enjoyed working on anything that had a motor.  He also enjoyed ATV riding.  Willard was a former member of the East Brady Fire Company. 

    He is survived by three sons, Willard "April" Conner of Hazen, William "Brandy" Conner of Leeper, Scott Conner of Sligo, and a daughter, Michelle Burk of Rimersburg.  Also surviving are four sisters, Linda "Perry" Griffie of East Brady, Shirley "Gary" Bercume of South Carolina, Mary Steiner of Saxonburg, PA, Betty "Drew" Miles of Texas; and five grandchildren, David, Athena, Brayden, Phoebe, and Kaiser.

    Along with his father, he is preceded in death by a brother, Richard Conner, a sister, Shelda Conner, and two grandchildren, Amber Bish, and Gavin Conner.

    Friends and family will be received on Saturday December 22, 2018 from 11 AM - 1 PM  at the Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad Street, Summerville, PA.  The funeral service will follow at 1 PM.

    Interment will be in the Vandervort Cemetery, Clover Twp., Jefferson Co.
