William L. Lawson, 63, of Brookville, PA died Thursday, April 11, 2019 at his home on Country
Club Road.
Born December 20, 1955 in Pittsburgh, PA, he was the son of William E. and V. Joanne (Reibert) Lawson.
William was a 1972 graduate of Clarion-Limestone High School. He was also a 1974 graduate of Butler Community College where he obtained an Associate Degree in Surveying, of which he made a career. He was a veteran serving in the U.S. Army. He was married to Deborah Shellhammer on October 1, 1993 at Ohio Pyle, PA by her father Rev. Shellhammer.
Along with his parents and wife his is survived by a son Luke Lord of New Castle, PA; a daughter Diedre Ellis of Texas; a stepdaughter Kimberly Hempel of Brookville; four brothers, Claude (Amy) Lawson of Corsica, Robert Lawson of Brookville, Steven Lawson of Evans City, and Jeremy Lawson of Brockway; five sisters, Amy (Terry) McCall of Strasburg, PA, Bonnie Lawson of Fayetteville, GA, Elizabeth (Gerald) Ferroni of Knox, PA, Sarah Lawson of Kittanning, PA , and Patricia Lawson. Also surviving are six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
A memorial service is to be held on Saturday, April 27, 2019 at 3 PM at the Brookville Christian and Missionary Alliance Church.
