Alice M. Yeaney

Alice M. Yeaney, 81, of Brookville, died Tuesday, February 4, 2025 while at Penn Highlands Brookville.

Born in Fryburg on November 13, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Elsie McDonald Lichtenberger.

She 1st married Walter Miller on November 5, 1960; he preceded her in death after 40 years of marriage on January 13, 2001. She then married Gary Yeaney on April 7, 2018; he preceded her on April 23, 2021.

Prior to her retirement she was the owner/operator of “We Care Hair” in Clarion and was employed at Jefferson County HistoryCenter in Brookville.

She was a member of Asbury Methodist Church, Red Hats and Eastern Star.

Her pastimes included decorating for every holiday, tending her flower beds, cooking, camping, boating and fishing.

Her survivors include a son, Brian (Sheila) Miller; her daughter, Brenda Miller Cressman; her grandchildren, Carli Cressman, Daniel (Michelle) Miller and Michael (Lauren) Miller; her great grandchildren, Emma, Oliver, Mia and Ava; as well as her sister, Mary Ritts.

In addition to her parents and husbands she was preceded in death by her son, Barry Miller; and her brother, Chuck Lichtenberger.

Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, PA. hasbeen entrusted with the final arrangements for Mrs. Yeaney.

A “Celebration of Life” will be scheduled for a later date.

Interment will be in Salem Cemetery, Frogtown, Clarion County.
