Anna Rearick

Anna E. Rearick, 64, of Weedville, died Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Penn Highlands Dubois following an illness.

 Born in St. Mary's on March 17, 1956, she was the daughter of Corda Wehler Gray.

She was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School and was a member of Weedville Wesleyan Church.

Before retiring she had been a caregiver for Oak Manor and Elk Haven Nursing Homes.

Her pastimes included listening to Old Country and Christian Music. When she was younger she enjoyed hunting. She was a great shot and could out shot most men.

In addition to her mother, Corda, she is survived by her son, Brent (Beth) Rearick; her daughter, Christina Rearick; her brothers, Ralph (Norma) Ryden and Orlin (Yvette) Gray II; her sisters, Linda (Tom) Merryman, Donna (Ronald) Gragg and Anita (Sam) Garthwaite; as well as her 7 grandchildren.

Her stepfather Orlin Gray preceded her in death.

There are no services planned at this time but her family will schedule and announce a memorial service for a later date.  

Her family suggests memorial donations be made to Weedville Wesleyan Church, 18945 Bennetts Valley Highway, Weedville, PA 15868.

Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, PA was entrusted with final arrangements for Mrs. Rearick.
