Audrey M. Paulson

Audrey M. Paulson, 92, of Church St., Brockway died Wednesday, January 4, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loved ones.

Born in Edinburgh, Scotland on April 26, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Ronald and Muriel Leyes John.

In July of 1948 she married William J. Paulson and moved to the United States. He preceded her in death. 

She spent her youth living in Scotland, England, India and Jamaica and attended high school at a boarding school in the Himalayas.

She was an only child but never lacked in companionship, as she always surrounded herself with an array of animals. She never lost her love of animals.

She loved being outside working in either her yard or flower beds.

Those surviving are her son and caregiver for her last years, Ronald Paulson; her daughter; Cynthia (Bruce) Webster; her grandchildren, Anne and Angela Paulson, William (Allyson) Webster and Emily Webster; her great grandchildren, Christopher, Audrey, Violet and Killian; and her best fur buddy, Brownie.

Her parents and husband preceded her in death.

Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, PA. has been entrusted with the final arrangements for Mrs. Paulson.

There will be no services held at this time.

Her family suggests memorial donations be made in her memory to Gateway Humane Society.
