Throughout her life she was an avid seamstress and knitter. She always had several projects going at a time, some she finished and others she would gift”as is’ with a promise of finishing in the future. Barb was known for her patchwork dogs and cats and for knitting hats that she donated to help those in need.
Until her retirement in 2009 she worked as a engraver and embroiderer at Demans in Brookville.
