Barbara Huffman

Barbara Huffman, born Barbara Schields, passed away peacefully on May 5, 2025, at Snyder Memorial in Marienville, Pennsylvania, at the age of 75.

Born on December 17, 1949, in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Barbara spent her life rooted in the state she called home. She Married Dale ( Butch) Huffman in July of 1968. They built a life and family together. Throughout her years, she embraced the roles of mother and grandmother with deep devotion and care. Her family was central to her life, and she found great joy in nurturing those closest to her.

Barbara is lovingly remembered by her daughter Crystal Walker (Mike)  and her cherished grandchildren: Mikey, Olivia, and Violet Walker; Samantha Huffman; Jason (Kayla) Little; Briana Hall and Matthew (Rebekah) Conville. , her daughter-in-law, Michele Huffman,and many great grandchildren. She held each of them close to her heart. She was preceded in death by her husband Butch. Sons, Robert K. Huffman and Brian D. Huffman, as well as her grandson Bobby Huffman.

Known for her loving nature, warm smile, and calm presence, Barbara brought comfort and kindness to those around her. She enjoyed quiet pleasures such as reading and creating art. Going to concerts and traveling. Music was a constant companion—especially the songs of Alan Jackson—and she delighted in playing cards with friends or family.

Barbara’s memory will live on through the lives she touched with grace and gentleness. May her legacy bring peace to those who knew and loved her. A Celebration of Life will be held on May 17, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 05:00 PM at The Walker Estate 873 Byromtown Rd Marienville PA
