Breana N. Herman

Breana N. Herman, 31, of New Castle and formerly of Punxsutawney, died Sunday, July 10, 2022 at her home.

Born on June 21, 1991 in Punxsutawney, she is the daughter of Shawn Herman and Wendy Campbell Islley.

She attended Punxsutawney Area High School and obtained her GED.

On July 25, 2021 in New Castle she married Ben Krueger. He survives.

Until the time of her death she was employed by Crews Control, LLC as crew leader for the flaggers.

Her pastimes included spending time with her children, being outdoors, kayaking, riding dirt bikes and side by sides. She was full of life and always very active.

Those surviving are her parents, Shawn (Nancy) Herman and Wendy (Scott) Islley; her husband, Ben Krueger; her son, Ayden Adams; her daughter, Skylah Krueger; her stepson, Gage Krueger; her brother, Derick Herman; her sisters, Amanda Pierce and Mackenzie Oczkowski; her maternal grandfather, Terry Campbell; her maternal great grandparents, Wayne and Glendora Campbell; her in-laws, Donald and Lorraine Krueger; as well as many extended family members.

Those preceding her in death are her maternal grandmother, Donna Syphrit and paternal grandparents, Arthur and Carolyn Herman; and her aunt, Jennifer Campbell.

Her family will receive friends on Friday, July 15, 2022 from 5-7 PM at Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, Pa.

A memorial service will immediately follow at 7PM at the funeral home.
