Carol A. Stormer, 79, of Baxter, passed away Monday, October 27, 2025, while at Forbes Hospital.
Born on August 5, 1946, in Knoxdale, she was the daughter of the late Clyde and Mary Hetrick Kramer.
She was a graduate of Punxsutawney Beauty School.
She was married to James Stormer. He preceded her in death on March 15, 1997.
Prior to retirement she had been employed by ROLO in Punxsutawney and Brookville Glove Factory in Brookville.
Her pastimes included quilting, sewing, knitting and spending time with her grandchildren.
Her survivors include her daughters, Val (Duncan) Hetrick, Patty (Keith) Ishman, Jenny (Robert) Hill and Terri (Bradley) Smouse; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as her 2 brothers, William (Cheryl) Kramer and Harry Kramer.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her daughter, Connie Trayer; her brothers, Clyde, Martin and infant, Roger Kramer; and her sisters, Mary Geer, Barbara Wright and Janice Kramer.
Her family will receive friends on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, PA. from 6-7PM.
A memorial service will follow at 7PM with Andrew Strohm, officiating.
Interment will be in Jefferson Cemetery, Clover TWP, Jefferson County.
