Cindy Kosarich, 62, of Summerville, peacefully passed away Tuesday, September 5, 2023 at UPMC Presbyterian surrounded by her family.
Born June 3, 1961, she was the daughter of Frank and Norma Frandon Dreslinski.
She was a graduate of Fox Chapel High School and was of Catholic faith.
After meeting and falling in love at Stellatanos Bar, she and Frank “The Painter” Kosarich enjoyed 32 years of marriage.
Prior to her retirement she had been employed for 32 years as aCustomer Service Supervisor at Ellias Industries in RIDC Park.
From city life to country life, she and her family moved to Summerville 9 years ago. Raising her children, caring for her farm animals, her pugs and the cats she rescued, gardening, canning and restoring her 1800’s farmhouse became her passion.
Her hobbies were thrifting for antiques and treasures for her eBay store.
Those surviving in addition to her father and husband are her children, David and Kiley; children she became guardian, Jamie, Megan, Haley and Jessica; and her siblings, Violet, David and Frankie.
In addition to her mother she was preceded in death her sisters, Linda and Debbie.
Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, Pa. has been entrusted with the final arrangements for Mrs. Kosarich.
A mass of Christian burial will be held for her on Thursday, September 14, 2023 at Holy Spirit Church- St. Matthew Parish (Millvale), 608 Farragut St., Pittsburgh, Pa. 15209 at 10AM with Rev. James Gretz, pastor, as celebrant.
Entombment will follow at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Holy Family Mausoleum, 700 Soose Rd., Pittsburgh, Pa. 15209.
