Corrine L. Nichol, 69, of Summerville, died Monday, April 26, 2021, at her home of natural causes.
Born March 14, 1952 in New Eagle, Washington County, she was the daughter of the late Robert and JoAnn Merashoff Ross.
She was a graduate of Bethlehem-Center and a 1970 graduate of California University of Pa. with a diploma in Nursing.
Until her retirement in 2016 she had been employed at Clarion Hospital since 1992 as an RN Supervisor.
Her pastimes included gardening, antiques, contests, animals and spending time with her beloved family and pets, Remmy and Germany.
Those surviving are her daughters, Shannon (Victor) Cunningham and Erin Minick; her grandchildren, Tyler and Zachary Minick, Ryan Moore, Brianna, Bethany and Kaylee Cunningham; sisters, Bonnie Ross, Maureen Sharrat, Tracey Ross and Shawn Urcho; a brother, Mark Ross; a her very special friends, Kerry Allshouse and Marty Dunkle.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother, Robert Ross and sisters, JoAnn Smith, Patricia Shutzman, Sherry Stroko and Dierdre Palmer.
Furlong Funeral Home was entrusted with the final arrangements for Ms. Nichol.
As per her request there will be no public viewing held but a “Celebration of Life” will announced at a later date.
