Darwin Dent

Darwin W. Dent, 55, of Ridgway died Friday, July 21, 2023 at his home of natural causes.

Born November 16, 1967 in Coudersport, he was the son of the late Merl Dent, Jr. and Phyllis Brown Dent.

He obtained his GED and continued his education at Hiram G. Andrews Culinary School in Johnstown.

He was of the Methodist faith and a member of the Ridgway Fire Department for many years prior to his disability.

He enjoyed fishing and watching Nascar races.

Those surviving him are his mother and brother, Raymond (Stacy) Dent.

His father preceded him in death.

Furlong Funereal Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, PA. hasbeen entrusted with the final arrangements for Mr. Dent.
