David Fisher

David S. “Puddin” Fisher, 72, a resident of Snyder Memorial Home in Marienville, died Thursday morning, December 31, 2020 at Clarion Hospital due to complications related to COVID-19.

Born January 4, 1948 in Winchester, Va., he was the son of the late Russell and Agnes Fisher Minnifield.

A wanderer at heart, David traveled the country and spent much of his adult life in California, later in life returning “Home” to the Harrisburg area.

He was a gifted artist that was very skilled at pencil drawings and photography. He enjoyed “tinkering” with cars and electronics. Tinkering with computers, printers and phones was one of his favorite pastimes.

His survivors include a brother, Andrew Minnifield; two sisters, Mary Minnifield and Judy Fisher; and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Those preceding him in death in addition to his parents are a brother, Larry Minnifield.

Funeral services will be streamed live on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 11 am with the Pastor Lenny Brooks officiating. Interment will be held at William Howard Day Cemetery in Steelton, PA.
