David L. Hetrick

David l. Hetrick, 76, of Brookville, died Saturday October 29, 2022 while at Penn Highlands Dubois.

Born October 14, 1946 in Brookville, he was the son of the late Lynn G. and Goldie Myers Hetrick.

He was a graduate of Brookville High School and proudly served his country with the US Army.

His wife, Gwendolyn Wolfe Hetrick preceded him in death on July 16, 2007.

Prior to his retirement he had been a truck driver for Keen Trucking and Glen Redi-Mix.

He was of Methodist faith and was a member of Brookville Firemens Club.

His pastimes included hunting, fishing, camping and wood working.

Those surviving are his best friend, Becky Henry; her children, Jay Dolby and Missy Dolby; and her grandchildren, Samantha, Thomas and Kelso (all of which he thought of as family); as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife; he was preceded in death by his sister, Romayne Hetrick Conner.

Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, PA has been entrusted with the final arrangements for Mr. Hetrick.
