Denise Clinger

Denise E. Clinger, 73, of Clarion passed away Tuesday, September 29,2026, while at Clarion Nursing & Rehab.

Born in Norfolk, VA on January 27, 1953, she was the daughter of the late Eugene Beers and Rena Deemer Beers Sagass.

After graduating from high school, she continued on to obtain her degree in Cosmetology.

On February 5,1972 in Clarion, she married Carson Clinger. He preceded her in death on October 10, 2023.

Her pastimes included painting, coloring, playing Bingo and Diamond painting.

Her survivors include her sons, Todd Clinger and Carson (Jessica) Clinger, Jr., her daughter, Angela (Clinton) Rupp; her grandchildren, Kaden, Aubriana, Keilani, Kyleigh, Ariella, Jocelyn, Ashley, Cortney and Kenzie; her great grandchildren, Brendan, Kason, Taylor, Rhyley, Peyton and Khalaya; her stepmother, Delores Beers; her sister, Kathy Dawson; and former daughter-in-law, Heidi Clinger.

 Those preceding her in death in addition to her parents and husband are her stepfather, Rick Sagass; and her sister, Sherry Deemer.

Her family will receive friends on Saturday, October 3,2026 from 12-1PM at Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, PA.

A funeral service will follow at 1PM at the funeral home with Pastor Barry Mitchell, officiating.

Interment will be held privately.
