Dennis W. Shreckengost

Dennis W. Shreckengost, 72, of Summerville, PA., passed away Wednesday, January 28, 2026 at his home following an illness.

Born on December 23, 1953 in Colwell, PA., he was the son of the late Roy and Iva Crissman Shreckengost.

He was a graduate of Brookville High School and attended both Penn State and Triangle Tech.

On September 1, 1973 at Pleasant Hill Bible Church, he married the former Glenda Clinger. She survives.

He retired from Clarion-Limestone High School in maintenance and is a member of Pleasant Hill Bible Church.

His pastimes included working on anything outside.

In addition to his wife, Glenda, he is survived by his daughter, Glenda Clinger; his grandchildren, Robert, Jacob and Hunter Wyant; as well as his sisters, Dianna Shreckengost and Ruth George.

Those preceding him in death in addition to his parents are his brothers, Reed, Eugene, Glenn and Boyd; and his sisters, Earlene, Alberta, Dorothy, Margie, Eleanora, Lucille and Hazel.
