Dennis Walter

Dennis P. Walter, 71, of St. Marys passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2026 at Jefferson Manor following a period of declining health. 

Born on April 4, 1955 in St. Marys, he was the son of the late Paul and Rachel Soberiski Walter.

He was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in St, Marys and had worked in the powdered metal industry as a laborer.

His past times included fishing, reading, watching old movies and TV (he loved anything with John Wayne in it), deeply interested in the history of St. Marys, collecting coins, drawing and painting.

He was the last surviving member of his family.

Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, PA. was honored to have been entrusted with the final arrangements for Mr. Walter.
