Denny Custer

Dennis C. “Denny” Custer, 56, of Reynoldsville, died early Tuesday, October 29, 2024 at his home following an illness.

Born in Brookville on March 3, 1968, he was the son of the late Robert Smith and Linda Custer Smith.

He was a graduate of Jeff Tech.

On October 21, 2017 at Bethel Baptist Church, he married the former Linda Andrews. She survives.

In the past he had been employed by Sensus, Rescar and Trail King.

He was a former member of Reynoldsville ABATE and Reynoldsville Legion and Eagles Clubs.

His pastimes included hunting, motorcycles and collecting guns.

Those surviving in addition to his mother and wife are his sons, Dennis (Amy) Custer, Richard Gilligan, Damon Custer and David (Ashley) Andrews; his brothers, Blair (Pam) Smith; his two sisters; as well as his grandchildren, Atlas, Andirose and Carter.

His father and his brother, Allen Smith, preceded him in death.

Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, PA. hasbeen entrusted with the final arrangements for Mr. Custer.

A “Celebration of Life” will be planned and held at a later date.
