Diane Clinton

Elizabeth “Diane” Clinton, 91, formerly of Summerville, died Sunday, November 24, 2024 at Shippenville Healthcare.

Born in Buffalo, NY on April 28, 1933, she was the daughter of the late Hollis and Elizabeth Parker Clinton.

She was a 1950 graduate of DuBois High School; she continued her education by obtaining her Bachelors Degree from Houghton University and her Masters of Education from the University of New York Buffalo.

Prior to retirement she was a teacher at Donald E. Gavit High School in Hammond, Indiana.

Her survivors include her sister, Genevieve Miles; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Eugene “Buzz” Clinton.

Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, PA. has been entrusted with the final arrangements for Ms. Clinton.

There will be no public services held.

Interment will be held privately for her family and friends at St. Nicholas Cemetery, Crates, Clarion County, Monday December 2 at 1:00PM
