Donald Boice Jr.

Donald “DB’ Boice, Jr., 69, of Marienville, died Sunday, October 13, 2024 at his home following an illness.

Born on April 22, 1955, he was the son of the late Donald Boice, Sr. and Anna Blystone Boice.

He was of Methodist faith and was a member of American Riders.

A master brick layer, samples of his craftsmanship can be seen in Virginia Beach and Marienville in many long lasting stone mason projects.

He enjoyed riding his motorcycle (affectionately known as Anna May), listening to music and time spent with his grandson, Waylon.

Those surviving are his son, Joshua (Brandy Coburn) Boice; his grandson, Waylon Boice; his sisters, Debbie (Richard) Ostrowsk and Patricia Beaver; his former wife and longtime friend, Linda Boice; and several nieces and nephews.

His parents and step mother, Myra Boice preceded him in death.

Furlong Funeral Home, 140 Cherry St., Marienville, PA. has been entrusted with the final arrangements for Mr. Boice.

A “Celebration of Life” will be held at a later date.
