Donna “Jean” Varner, 94, of Edinboro, formerly of Brookville, died Sunday, February 23, 2025 at her home.
Born on October 15, 1930 in Brookville, she was the daughter of the late Gerald and Margaret Stein McHenry.
She was a graduate of Brookville High School and a member of Zion Methodist Church in Howe, PA.
She was previously employed by O-I in Brookville.
Her pastimes included watching her ”Soaps” and spending time with her family.
Her survivors include her daughters, Nancy Huff, Bonita (Rodney) Lang and Linda (Thomas) Moore; her grandchildren, Jason (Daniele) Huff, Carie Huff, Anthony Smith and Benjamin Smith; her great grandchildren, Rhiannon, Hayden and Ashton Huff, Leah Leinanbach, Baylee Baptiste, Seth, Olivia and Rosalie Smith; her three great great grandchildren; and her sister, Mary Ellen Smith.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Peggy Varner; her brother, Richard McHenry; and her sister, Marilyn Hulse.
Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, PA. has been entrusted with the final arrangements for Mrs. Varner.
There will be no services held.
Interment will be in Zion Methodist Cemetery, Howe, Jefferson County.
