Obituary
Doretha D. Stephens, 65, of Brookville died Friday, March 10, 2023 at UPMC Family Hospice in Pittsburgh following an illness.
Born November 8, 1957 in Brookville, she was the daughter of the late Cliff and Arlene Vandervort Jones.
She was a 1975 graduate of Brookville High School and of Dubois Business College with a degree in Business and another in Billing and Coding.
On June 4, 1982 she married Rick Stephens. He survives his wife.
She was employed for over 20 years at Trail King until their closing at which time she worked in pediatric offices in both Punxsutawney and Brookville.
She was a member of the Clarion F.O.E. and was of protestant faith.
Her pastimes included cooking and baking, knitting, gardening and riding motorcycles.
In addition to her husband, Rick, she is survived by her daughter, Rikki; her brother, Brian Jones; her sisters, Diana Jones, Donna (Tom) Riggs and Darla Seiders; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Her parents; a brother, Bradley Jones and her sister, Diedre Caluri proceeded her in death.
Her family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 15, 2023 from 5-8PM at Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, PA.
