Elizabeth A. Hallman

Elizabeth “Betsy”  Hallman, 90, of Brookville Pa. passed away on Monday, October 21, 2024 at McKinley Health Center.

Born on February 8, 1934 in Dayton PA, she was the daughter of Gordon and Bernice Buzzard Williams. 

She married Escoe “ Ike” Hallman on October 8, 1950; he preceded her in death on February 17, 2007. 

Prior to her retirement, Elizabeth worked in various factories around the area including: Sylvania and Owens-Illinois.

She enjoyed sewing, crafts, and made many beautiful quilts.

She was a loving mother and grandmother.

Her survivors include her son, Daniel (Andrea) Hallman; her daughter, Sally Hallman Neill;  a brother,Bill (Sherry) Williams; a sister, Janet Wigton; 5 grandchildren, Gordon (Tracy) Hallman, John Jacob Hallman, Buck Hetrick, Melissa (Richard) Snyder and Jody Hetrick; as well as her great grandchildren,Casey Love, Braden Fife, Nevada, Taylor and Brooks Hetrick and Isaiah (Chelea) Snyder.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brothers; Bernard, Homer and Robert Williams; a sister, Sara Caltrider; and her granddaughter, Cheyenne Snyder; and her infant great granddaughter, Dixie; and her brother-in-law, LaRay Fred “Punk” Hallman.

Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville,PA. has been entrusted with the final arrangements for Mrs. Hallman.

A private family memorial will be held. 
Interment will be in Milton Cemetery, Armstrong County.
