Elsie Christner

Elsie Louise Christner, 68, of Punxsutawney died on Monday April 30, 2018 at the Punxsutawney Area Hospital.

She was born on February 26, 1950 in Punxsutawney to the late Austin and Mae (Kunselman) Troutman.  She was a graduate of Punxsutawney Area High School.  She was a homemaker and liked to collect antique horses, and Indian memorabilia. She also like to go fishing.

 She is survived by hers sons, Nathan  Christner of Reynoldsville, Doug "Angel" Christner of Punxsutawney; her daughter Jenn "Dan" Kaza of DuBois; her sisters, Dessie "Bob" Harmon of Juneau, PA, and Alice "Don" Robinson of Boulevard, PA.  Also surviving are five grandchildren.

Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, Jim, Raymond, and Norman.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Grace United Methodist Church, 61 Hillcrest Dr., Punxsutawney, PA.
