Emile “Bud” C. Schollaert, III, of Marienville, passed away Saturday, November 8, 2025 on his 83rd Birthday while at Snyder Memorial Home.
Born November 8, 1942 in Pittsburgh, he was the son of the late Emile C. Schollaert, II and Gladys Toward Schollaert Price.
On June 15, 1985 he married the former Paula Duggins. She survives.
He was employed as a police officer by the City of Pittsburgh Police Department until his retirement due to injuries sustained in the line of duty.
His memberships include F.O.P. Fort Pitt, Veteran Police Association and Marienville Rod & Gun.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, trapping and camping.
In addition to his wife, Paula he is survived by his son, Erik (Sandra M.) Schollaert; his 4 daughters; his 10 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild; as well as his sisters, Suzanne and Cindy Schollaert.
Those preceding him in death in addition to his parents are his brother, Kenneth Schollaert; and his twin sisters, Gladys and Gloria.
Furlong Funeral Home, 140 Cherry St., Marienville, PA. hasbeen entrusted with the final arrangements for Mr. Schollaert.
