Gary J. Collins

Gary J. Collins, 66, of Marienville, died Wednesday, June 4, 2025 while at Snyder Memorial Home in Marienville.

Born on September 14, 1958 in Presque Isle, ME, he was the son of the late Magella and Odile Caron Collins.

He was of Catholic faith.

Known as a “Jack of all Trades” he worked various jobs until his retirement.

He survivors include his brothers, Carroll and Philip: as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Bruce; and his sister, Nancy Pienkowski.

His family will receive friends on Friday, June 27, 2025 from 6-8PM at Furlong Funeral Home, 140 Cherry St., Marienville, PA.  

A mass of Christian burial will be held at 11AM on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at St. Ann Catholic Church in Marienville, PA. with Rev. Michael Polineck, pastor, officiate.

Interment will be in Maine Veterans Memorial Cemetery, August, ME.

His family suggest memorial contribution be made in his memory to the Cancer Society.
