Gloria J. Wolfgong

Gloria Wolfgong, 95, of Summerville passed away Tuesday, September 8, 2026, while at McKinley Health Center.

Born on January 24, 1931, in Venus, CA, she was the daughter of the late Darl and Wilma Lucas Crissman.

On September 13,1947 in Petrolia, PA, she married Amos Wolfgong. He preceded her in death on Wednesday, May 15,2015.

Prior to retirement she had been employed at O-I and Carrier Insurance as a receptionist.

She was a member of Shannondale Lutheran Church.

Her survivors include her sons, Melvin (Ruth) Wolfgong and Brian (Erin) Wolfgong; her grandson, Jason Wolfgong; and her sister, Donna Conte.

In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by a brother, sister and her granddaughter.

Furlong Funeral home, 50 Broad St. Summerville was honored to be entrusted with the final arrangements for Mrs. Wolfgong.

Interment was held on Friday, September 11,2026 at Shannondale Union Cemetery, Redbank TWP., Clarion County.

Per the family’s request in lieu of flowers memorials may be made in Mrs. Wolfgong’s memory to Shannondale Lutheran Cemetery 220 Macadam Road, Mayport, PA.
