Guy R. Siverling JR

Guy R. Siverling, Jr., 63, died Friday morning, May 28, 2021 at his home in Summerville following an illness.

Born in San Diego, California on November 10, 1957, he was the son of the late Guy R. Siverling, Sr. and Geraldine Phillips Siverling.

He was a graduate of Punxsutawney High School, served in the National Guard and attended Oliveburg Church. Guy worked as a heavy equipment operator for Union Local #66 .

On April 3, 1999 in Knoxdale he married the former Tracy Keth. She survives.

He enjoyed working in his garage, hunting, making venison bologna and jerky, gardening, medieval fairies and playing with his grandsons.

Those surviving in addition to his mother and wife; are a son, Tyler (Carly) Geist; three stepsons, Jacob(Kelly) Stormer, Mick Stormer and Josiah Stormer; four step grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father he was preceded in death by his brothers, Phillip and Timothy Siverling; and his sister, Alice Hogg.

Family will receive friends on Tuesday, June 1, 2021 from  2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, Pa. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, June 2, 2021 at  11 AM at the funeral home.

Interment will be in St. Johns Reform Church Cemetery.

CDC recommendation related to Covid-19 will be observed for all services held for Mr. Siverling.
