Obituary
Helen A. Conte, 98, of Brookville, died Wednesday, September 13, 2023 while at Penn Highlands Jefferson Manor.
Born in West Homestead, Allegheny County on October 18, 1924, she was the daughter of the late Roland and Ida AikinsHetrick.
She was a 1942 graduate of Brookville High School and was a member of Brookville Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witness.
On March 7, 1949 in Chester, PA., she married Vincent J. Conte. He preceded her in death on May 30, 1999.
She was self employed as a cleaner prior to her retirement.
Her pastimes included gardening and flowers.
Her survivors include her daughter-in-law, Donna Conte; her sister, Linda Duda; as well as several step grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband she was preceded in death by her step son, James V. Conte; her step daughter, Dorothy Fromal; her brothers, Donald and Robert Hetrick; and her sisters, Betty Giampalmi and Edith Hicks.
Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, PA. has been entrusted with the final arrangements for Mrs. Conte.
