Obituary
Helen E. Murray, 46, of Summerville, died at her home on Wednesday, August 16, 2023 following a brief illness.
Born in Punxsutawney on June 16, 1977, she was the daughter of William and Doris Cordwell, Sr. They survive her.
She was a graduate of Brookville High School and obtained an Associate’s Degree from Dubois Business College.
On April 24, 2017 in Reynoldsville she married William Murray. He survives.
Prior to her illness she had been employed by Clarion Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
In addition to her parents and husband, she is survived by her sons, Mason Neiswonger and Cory (Corey) Runyan; her daughters, Madison (Alex) Collier, Morgan Neiswonger and Brittany Murray; her brother, William (Shauna) Cordwell; her sisters, Brandie (Scott) Rhines, Wanita Cotton, Laura Cordwell and Amanda (DJ) Grimm; her grandchildren, Jaxson Collier and Zayne Forsythe; her former husband, Michael Neiswonger; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Her family will receive friends on Sunday, August 20, 2023 from 2-4PM & 6-8PM at Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, PA.
A funeral service will be held at 11AM on Monday, August 21, 2023 at the funeral home.
Interment will be in Vandervort Cemetery, Clover Township, Jefferson County.
