Iva Sapp

Iva Sapp, 82, of Mayport, died Monday, January 20, 2025 while at Punxsutawney Hospital.

Born on June 4, 1942 in Summerville, she was the daughter of the late Benjamin and Alice Shanafelt Bish.

She was a high school graduate and continued her education receiving an Associate’s Degree.

She was a member of Big Run Methodist Church and was retired as a secretary from DuBois Hearing.

She enjoyed doing hair and makeup and playing games.

Her survivors include her three sons, Wayne (Bridget) Young, Michael (Tracy) Sarvey and Jason (Sherry) Sarvey; her two daughters, Michele (Dennis) Troup and Christina (Daniel) Sarvey; her 18 grandchildren; and her 20 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, a daughter; three brothers and three sisters; and her granddaughter, “Little Lady”.

A “Celebration of Life” will be planned and announced at a later date.
