Obituary
Jacqueline A. Waldorf, 80, of Summerville died in the early morning hours of Monday, August 21, 2023 surrounded by her family.
Born in Harrisburg on February 14, 1943, she was the daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Carden.
On December 21, 1963, in Muncy, PA, she married Dennis L. Waldorf. He survives.
She was a graduate of East Pennsboro High School and continued her education, earning her Bachelors in Accounting from the University of Delaware with top honors. She achieved her CPA in 1977. She retired from JP Morgan, where she worked in wealth management.
She was a member of the Pleasant Hill Bible Church.
Her pastimes included working her family tree farm
(Waldorf Tree Farm), traveling the country with her husband, and sailing on the Chesapeake Bay.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her son, John Waldorf; her daughters, Lisa Waldorf and Lori (Shawn) Lane; her grandchildren, Shawn, Matthew, Jillian, Kevin, Travis, Jack, and Tristan; and her great grandson, Ryan.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister Catherine.
Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, PA. has been entrusted with the final arrangements for Mrs. Waldorf.
