Jason M. “Bean” Sorbin, 47, of Mayport died Tuesday morning, October 29, 2024 while at UPMC Magee Hospital following an illness.
Born in Indiana, PA. on June 12, 1977, he was the son of the late Pamela Altman Brosius.
He was a graduate of Brookville High School and continued his education by obtaining a Electrical Degree from Triangle Tech.
He honorably and proudly served his country in the U.S. Army.
Prior to illness he was employed by Glenn O. Hawbaker as a truck driver.
His pastimes included playing guitar, collecting motorcycles, hunting and fishing.
His survivors include his sons, S. Kai Sorbin and Darius Sorbin; his daughter, Laynee Sorbin; the mother of his children, Billi Jo Clinger Sorbin; his sister, Sheila (Travis) Alcorn; a brother, his companion, Rachel Snell, as well as four nieces.
His family will receive friends from 1PM – 3PM on Friday, November 1, 2024 at Furlong Funereal Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, PA.
A funeral service with Military Honors will follow at 3PM also at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers his family suggests memorial donation be made in his memory to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
