Joan M. Harris, 66, of Coolspring, died Monday morning, January 18, 2021 at Punxsutawney Hospital.
Born in Punxsutawney on April 19, 1954, she was the daughter of the late Ralph and Ruth Nelson Adamson.
She was a 1972 graduate of Punxsutawney High School and attended Keystone Jr. College and Lock Haven University.
On June 21, 1975 in Punxsutawney she married Mickey Harris. He survives.
Joan worked in the past for Dusan Ambulance as an EMT.
She was a member of Mt. Pleasant Methodist Church, the Summerville Volunteer Fire Department and Secretary of the Clarion County Fire Police, and past Matron of the Eastern Star Chapter 230 in New Bethlehem.
Her survivors in addition to her husband, Mickey include two daughters, Jennifer (Dale) Coleman and Kelly Casado; a brother, Eric (Debbie) Hutchins; two sisters, Linda McAfoos and Doris (Kevin) Krupiewski; and three grandsons.
Her parents preceded her in death.
Due to the current restrictions related to COVID-19 there will be no public services held at this time. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Her family suggests memorial donations be made to the Summerville Library.
