Jody Bish

Jody R. Bish, 52, of Ringgold passed away Monday, August 31, 2026.

Born April 14,1974 he was the son of the late Roger Bish and Paula Flack Bish Wangler.

He was a 1992 graduate of Jeff Tech.

At the time of his passing, he was the owner of Ringgold Plumbing and Heating.

His memberships included the Moose Club in Punxsutawney.

He enjoyed hunting, camping, racing and spending time with family and friends.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his son, Timothy Bish; his grandchildren, Brantley and Kaylee; his brothers, Justin (Lisa) Bish and L.W. Wangler: his sister, Chelsey Bish; as well as his former wife of 33 years, Laurie Bish.

His father preceded him in death.

A visitation will be held from 10AM-12NOON on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Bish family racing at Marion Center Bank in Punxsutawney, for Jody’s grandson to continue his legacy.
