John M. Plyler

John M. Plyler, 93 of Shields Rd, Summerville, PA, passed away at his home on August
11, 2024.
John was born on July 9, 1931, a son of Elphie Glenn Plyler & Hazel Irene (Witherow) Plyler
On November 2 1952 he married the only love of his life, Ida Grace Barnett.
Together they raised 6 daughters, they were married for 70 yrs. John enjoyed time with his family & friends. Most often you could find him tinkering in his
garage or working on a wood project. He is survived by 5 daughters, Connie Brosius, Machell (Bob) Keim, Lorie (Rick) Baker, Jill (Tim) Stephens & Amanda Plyler: 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, & 2 great
great grandchildren, and numerous nieces & nephews. John was the last living member of his family. He was preceded in death by his parents & 7
siblings, along with his wife Grace & a daughter Leshia Eberts.
