Juanita Reed

Juanita L. Reed, 75, of Brookville, passed away Friday, September 25, 2026, while at McKinley Health Center following an illness. 

Born on March 13,1951 at Ft. Lee, VA, she was the daughter of the late Ben and June White Burkett.

She was a 1969 graduate of Brookville High School.

On December 23, 1983, in Punxsutawney, she married Donald R. Reed. He survives. 

Prior to her retirement she had been employed By CYS and Community Action.

Her memberships include the Brookville Fireman’s Club and Brookville Eagles.

She enjoyed riding the Harley, camping and social media.

In addition to her husband she is survived by her son, Eric (Wendy Delp) Yale; her stepchildren, Dusty (Heather) Reed and Melissa (Kevin) Hetrick; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as numerous extended family members.

Her parents and her sister Jennifer precede her in death.

Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville was honored to be entrusted with the final arrangements for Mrs. Reed.
