Judy A. Kennedy, 74, of Punxsutawney, peacefully passed away Thursday, March 5, 2026 while at Jefferson Manor surrounded by her loving family.
Born February 5, 1952 at the former Adrian Hospital in Punxsutawney, she was the daughter of the late Wayne and Sara Kiehl Harp.
She was a graduate of Jeff Tech.
She was employed by Brookville Glove for 10 years before transitioning to healthcare. She truly loved her job as a CNA at Jefferson Manor, where for over 20 years she cherished everyone she cared for,
Judy was a very loving and caring person always doing things for her family. She enjoyed adventures with her loved ones and outings like roller skating, fishing and swimming. She had the best family and friends that anyone could ask for. Someone was always calling to invite her to join in a new adventure. She loved each and everyone one of them as if they were her own. She enjoyed planting flowers, making wreaths and decorating for each holiday. She made every holiday memorable.
She will be greatly missed by anyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.
Her survivors include her son, Daniel (Mamie) Kennedy; her granddaughters, Kayla (Billy Kelly) Kromer and Ali (Josh) Vasquez; her great grandchildren, Evan, Connor, Kenzie and JJ; her brother, Larry (June) Harp; her sister, LuAnn (Ken) Hetrick; her sister-in-law, Bev Harp Shields; as well several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends who she LOVED so much.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brother, Randy Harp.
Furlong Funeral Home, 50 Broad St., Summerville, PA. was honored to be entrusted with the final arrangements for Ms. Kennedy.
As per her wishes there will be no services held at this time.
A “celebration of Life” will be planned for a future date.
