Kathleen Wantje

Kathleen Wantje, 82, died in the early morning hours of Saturday, October 19, 2024 following a period of declining health.

Born in Pittsburgh on March 21, 1942, she was the daughter of the late John and Minnie Moose Wantje.

She was of the Catholic faith.

She enjoyed the outdoors and LOVED dogs.

Those surviving are her nieces, nephews and several extended family members.

 In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her brothers, William, Cliff and Walter Wantje; and her sisters, Willa Reed and Alene Wantje.

Furlong Funeral Home, 140 Cherry St., Marienville, PA. has been entrusted with the final arrangements for Ms. Wantje.

Interment will be in Cooksburg Cemetery, Barnett TWP, Forest County and will be held on Thursday, October 24, 2024 with a graveside committal service.
